Refreshing Watermelon Blueberry Drink

Celebrate summer parties with this delicious, refreshing, and super easy blueberry and watermelon drink. It’s the perfect refreshing drink on hot days that boasts some pretty favorable healthy benefits too!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries *

  • 2 cups cubed watermelon*

  • 4 cups ice cubes*

  • Optional:

  • Add sweetener of choice

  • Splash of lime juice

  • Garnish with mint of choice

Directions

  • In a blender, combine the blueberries, watermelon, and lime juice. Add sweetener if using. Puree until smooth.
  • To serve: Taste for lime juice and sweetener and add more if desired. Add ice to pitcher or glasses and garnish with lime.
  • To serve as a slushy or smoothie beverage: When ready to serve, add the ice and pulse, and blend until the mixture is either smooth or slushy. Taste for lime juice and sweetener; add more if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries and/or watermelon if you prefer more of a slushy or smoothie type of drink. No need to add ice if the fruit is frozen.
