Rosemary is linked to aiding in the prevention of diabetes, improving brain health, fighting off bacterial infections, and protecting the liver. Couple this with the wonderful benefits of lemons and oranges and you have a healthy, refreshing, and flavorful tea that is light and slightly sweet with no added sugar. Drink it hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 1 ( 64 oz bottle) or freshly brewed unsweetened ice tea

  • 2 oranges

  • 1 lemon

  • 5 sprigs of rosemary

Directions

  • Pour the tea of choice into a large pitcher.
  • Squeeze the juice from one orange into the pitcher.
  • Slice the remaining orange and lemon and add to the pitcher.
  • Crush the rosemary to release the oils and add to the tea.
  • Let the tea sit at room temperature for 4 hours for best flavor.
  • Pour the tea through a strainer to remove rosemary.
  • Server over ice and garnish with orange slices, rosemary sprigs, if desired
  • Add your favorite sweetener , if you prefer a sweeter iced tea or use a store bought sweeetened ice tea, but do look for more natural forms of sweetener.
